WHEEL THROWN TEAPOT WORKSHOP

It is officially cozy season, sweater weather and time to wrap your hands around a warm cup of tea.

I invite you to join me to craft your own special teapot to serve up your favourite concoctions this fall. This is a workshop for those of you who can centre 2.5-3 lb of clay and control the clay.  This is not for newbies -no foundations will be taught.

week one , we will focus on moving the clay, shaping the clay, building the parts of the teapot- spout, lid and body all on the wheel.   

week two we will attach the spout, handle and lid handle and the rest of the time will be spent decorating.

Oct 18. 2-5pm.   throw the teapot body, lid, spout

Oct 25  1-5pm    trim, attach spout and handles and decorate
