DINNERWARE SERIES. Wednesdays September 16, 23,30,Oct 7, 14. 6-8:30 pm

You have had the dream of one day making your own dinner set (plates, bowls, cups), well...that one day has come:)

Sign up for the tableware sessions and learn how to make your very own set.  Depending on your skill, and how you work you will leave the class with one (potentially two) full setting  of  your first dinner ware set.   You will learn to throw dinner plate. (no one usually teaches these because while they are easy to throw if you can manage 3-4 lb of clay they are easy to crack and warp in the drying and trimming process) we will explore  bowl shapes that are similar/consistent and but will begin by refining your overall throwing techniques while practicing mug forms.  

You will be guided with demos' and individual one on one assistance through out each session.  This is all about creating a collection you love.

This class is for you if you have been waiting for a next steps class and want to build on your foundations.  You must have wheel experience  and be able to centre clay prior to this class, it is an intermediate class and in the second week we will be centering and throwing 3-4 pounds of clay , BUT.... if you are a little rusty - we can tailor it using smaller amounts of clay.
